My journey in the pet world started right here—I grew up going to Triad, and by 14, I was already knee-deep in my mom’s grooming shop, totally hooked on dogs. I went on to study dog training and behavior, digging deep into what really works when it comes to understanding our furry friends. But it wasn’t until I became the owner of a reactive German Shepherd that I realized how hard it is to find truly good dog care. My own dog’s behavior made me question everything I knew. I was searching for better solutions, but frankly, most places didn’t get it. The traditional methods didn’t sit right with me, so I said “f*ck that” and dove deep into science-based, force-free training to find something better—not just for my dog, but for all dogs. As a dog owner myself, I know how crucial it is to have a place you can trust. So, in 2017, I opened Unleashed (which later became Fetching Pet Company), because there was a serious lack of options in our area positive, science-backed dog care that catered to the guest that mattered most, the dog. We’re not here to follow the old-school ways but we are here to make your life easier.
