Certified Professional Dog Trainer, Behavior Specialist, and Owner of Fetching Pet Company, LLC

Mikayla has over 11 years experience in the pet industry and 8 years experience in dog training and dog behavior. She is certified in Formal Obedience, Informal Obedience, Behavior, K9 Police Dog Training, Assistant Dog Training, Protection Dog Training, and Scent Detection Training through the APC and she is a certified in Canine Conditioning Coach by world renowned trainer, Kyra Sundance. She is also certified in k9 CPR and First Aid through the American Red Cross. Mikayla is a Dog Training Mentor/Instructor for the students of Animal Behavior College. She is 100% science based and therefore, only uses fear free and intimidation free training methods. She also has extreme interests in k9 behavior modification and k9 nutrition and fitness.

Chelsea

Professional Pet Groomer, Certified PetTech

Chelsea has multiple years experience in pet grooming and is a Professional Pet Groomer with extreme passion for advanced grooming techniques and uncommon breed patterns. Chelsea has also completed multiple lectures and tests on different breeds, behavior, and learning theory allowing her to understand any breed with any temperament. She is certified in PetTech which includes Canine and feline CPR (3 different techniques), rescue breathing, choking management, knowing and assessing your pet's vitals, bleeding protocols, insect bites/stings, snake bites, seizure management, poison protocols, heat and cold injuries, shock management, muzzling and restraining techniques, snout to tail assessments, dental health and hygiene and caring for your senior pet-izens. In the senior pet segment, she knows topics such as nutritional needs and changes, lifestyle changes for the comfort of senior pets, veterinary care and geriatric screening, and much more. She believes in 100% fear free grooming methods and promotes minimizing stress instead of maximizing restraint.

Ellie

Certified Specialized Trainer

Ellie is a certified specialized trainer with extensive training in basic and formal obedience, assistance dog training, and advanced scent detection training. She is also certified in PEP, Pet Empowerment Program, which includes applied animal analysis and behavior management, defensive handling, canine communication, and how to effectively reduce fear and stress in pets. Outside of her awesome education through APC she has received 9 trick titles with her personal dog Harley including Champion Trick title and she is trained in dog CPR and behavior adjustment training. Ellie is the perfect fit for Fetching Pet Company because she also only believes in fear free, force free, and intimidation free training methods.

LeAnn

Certified PackPro Attendant, Certified PetTech

LeAnn is certified in PackPro which means she is well versed in proper body blocking techniques, basic daycare obedience cues, marker & release words, common fight causes and prevention, advanced group management, advanced group activities, and more. She is also certified in PetTech which includes Canine and feline CPR (3 different techniques), rescue breathing, choking management, knowing and assessing your pet's vitals, bleeding protocols, insect bites/stings, snake bites, seizure management, poison protocols, heat and cold injuries, shock management, muzzling and restraining techniques, snout to tail assessments, dental health and hygiene and caring for your senior pet-izens. She also studied defensive dog handling, body language, and communication. When LeAnn isn't at Fetching she loves hanging out with her own dog, Tyson, and her pet reptiles. She loves all animals and would someday love to get into rescue.
